Keystone Pacific Property Management Promotes Brandon Case

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Business and real estate law firm Newmeyer & Dillion LLP has named Michael J. Studenka as a new partner in its highly regarded litigation group, based in Newport Beach.

Studenka specializes in construction litigation as well as labor and employment law.  He primarily represents general contractors and developers in all aspects of construction dispute resolution, including extra work claims, delay claims, performance and payment bond claims, fee disputes, negligence claims, and mechanic’s lien claims.  Studenka also defends employers in matters relating to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour complaints, and employee embezzlement.

GARY R. GAGNÉ JOINS WESTCORE PROPERTIES AS VICE PRESIDENT

SAN DIEGO, Calif. Westcore Properties announces that Gary R. Gagné has joined the company as vice president and chief accounting officer. He brings more than 16 years of real estate, accounting and finance experience in the areas of private equity, asset management, commercial property and land development, financial reporting, and information systems. 

According to Don Ankeny, president and chief executive officer with Westcore Properties, Gagné's financial and real estate acumen will be of tremendous value to the company as it continues to seek value-add real estate opportunities in the U.S. 

Prior to joining Westcore Properties, Gagné served as the vice president of accounting and corporate controller for Newland Real Estate Group (Newland), the nation’s largest privately-owned land developer. While at Newland, Gagné managed accounting and reporting for several private equity funds exceeding $1 billion in member capital. Before his time at Newland, Gagné was corporate controller for LNR Property’s commercial property division in Newport Beach, Calif. Gagné’s experience also includes serving as audit manager for Ernst & Young LLP in its real estate audit and assurance practice.

Gagné is a certified public accountant in California and Massachusetts. He is an active member in professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Gagné holds a Bachelor of Science in business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston College.

Adrian Tabatabaie Joins Keystone Pacific Property Management

Lani Kaneshiro of Keystone Pacific Property Management Elected to 2011 CAI Board of Directors  

IRVINE, Calif. — Lani Kaneshiro, regional manager of Keystone Pacific Property Management’s Irvine office, has been elected to the 2011 Board of Directors of the Community Association Institute (CAI). Her three-year term began on Jan. 1, 2011.

“I look forward to serving on the CAI Board of Directors – this position presents an outstanding opportunity for me to contribute my experience and expertise,” said Kaneshiro.   “I’m very proud to be a part of this esteemed organization and look forward to being a part of its continued success.”

Kaneshiro has been deeply involved in the CAI Orange County Regional Chapter having held the positions of past Chair/Co-Chair of the Programs Committee and remains an active member of the Programs Committee and of the Manager Support Committee.

As regional manager of Keystone Pacific, Kaneshiro oversees a group of district managers and supervises Keystone Pacific’s architectural department. She also assists the vice president of association management and manages Northwood Pointe, a master-planned community of 1930 residences in Irvine, Calif.  She has over 10 years experience in managing community associations, managing all types of community associations, with an emphasis on master-planned communities.  In her previous position as director of training, she implemented and directed manager training programs.

Kaneshiro earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Long Beach. She holds her Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) through the Community Association Institute (CAI), Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) through the California Association of Community Managers, Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) designation through CAI and the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation through CAI.
