Pardee Homes Promotes John Anglin

Pardee Homes has promoted John Anglin to Senior Vice President, Construction and Purchasing. Anglin assumes his new position with the April retirement of Randy Myers. Anglin is a 30-year veteran with the company, serving most recently as Senior Vice President, Purchasing. Anglin will oversee construction activities for Pardee Homes in all of its markets, playing an integral role in implementing the company’s development plans for new homes and communities.

Habitat for Humanity OC’s Board Elects New Officers

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County has elected new officers for their Board of Directors: Brett Mansfield, new chairman of the board; Eric Bell, new vice-chairman; and Mark Hoover, new secretary of the board. Mansfield, a board member since 2006, is Senior Vice President and Business Banking Director for Orange County for Wachovia Bank in Irvine. He and his family reside in Mission Viejo. Bell, who has served on the board since 2004, is Senior Vice President for the Investment Management & Trust Division for Bank of the West in Newport Beach. He and his family reside in Dove Canyon. Hoover is Vice President of the National Homebuilder Services for First American Title Insurance Company in Santa Ana. He has served as a board member since 2005 and resides in Corona Del Mar.

Design Line Interiors celebrates 24th anniversary

Design Line Interiors celebrated its 24th anniversary in April. Seasoned designers with expertise in architecture, merchandising and custom residential continue to offer a very diverse range of design options. With its move last year to Del Mar, Design Line can now be found at 1302 Camino Del Mar, Suite A. It also is continuing to promote green, sustainable materials through a specialized logo for client diagrams that highlights materials that may be of interest to environmentally conscious homebuyers. This evolved from numerous inquires the firm received after its involvement in the Platinum LEED designation at Del Sur Ranch house.

KTGY Continues Work in Anaheim

KTGY’s Community Planning and Retail studios have been busy with two significant projects in Anaheim. The Anaheim Resort Hotel & Spa and Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) Mixed-Use District will be major additions to the city. The Anaheim Resort & Spa is located near the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland. It’s envisioned as a vibrant destination hotel with luxurious accommodations, "cool" pool and rooftop skybar. ARTIC is envisioned as a world-class transportation hub and major transit gateway for Orange County, integrated with a mixed-use development consisting of retail, dining, entertainment, office, hospitality and residential uses.
